Special Bulletin:
On May 28th 2009 the new contract was
approved by the Assembly 7-0.
The
employees of the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB) elected APEA/AFT as their
bargaining representative in 1975. The
approximately 250 employees perform typical Borough duties.
Officers:
Local Officers
are elected biennially (every two years) in even numbered years. Current terms expire June 30, 2010.

Representatives serve as coordinators between the Field Office and Management
for members at the work sites. The
Executive Committee appoints Employee Representatives. This is whom you call when you have questions
or problems with Union and FNSB issues.
