Welcome to the Fairbanks North Star Borough Employee Association Local 6125. We are affiliated with the Alaska Public Employees Association/American Federation of Teachers (AFL-CIO) which represents about 10 million members nationally.

A union is only as strong as the members. I would like to encourage you to get involved and stay informed by talking to your employee representatives and sharing your ideas and opinions. We have quarterly general membership meetings to discuss issues of concern to the members and keep everyone informed about what is happening in our local and at the statewide level. You might even consider volunteering for a committee or participating in some of our other activities like the Labor Day Parade and Picnic each fall.
